Neridah walked along the pond's edge, gently throwing pebbles into the water creating a ripple effect. She had become the deputy of LeafClan when they had first come to this island. Settling into the new land was hard for all of the Clans, but eventually they got used to them. For Neridah -- who had refused a new Clan name -- it was still a bit difficult, mostly because of how uncomfortable the weather and sleeping places were. At least she had lasted more than a week, though! It certainly surprised her. There was no going back after they came to the island, so she had no choice but to remain the future leader of LeafClan.
Neridah had originated from New York City, quite an exciting place... a place that she secretly longed for on cold nights. Luckily, it was Spring time so it wasn't terribly cold. The Clan was trying to sleep with their bodies in contact for body warmth. She had no real friends here, just acquaintances. She was actually a friend of the leader -- hence her rank -- but that didn't count. As of now, there were no tension between the three Clans. Neridah hoped it would stay that way for a while, because she wasn't confident in her ability to fight.
